My name is Johncarlo, but you can call me Jc.
I'm a recent graduate of the University of Florida, with a degree in Computer Science. I'm currently working in Washington, DC as a Congressional Digital Service Fellow with TechCongress.
I've worked in both the private and public sector, and have past experience with Java, C++, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and Swift, as well as experience in Product Management.
When I'm not coding or sleeping, I enjoy eating spicy food, beating difficult video games, and listening to city pop.
Fullstack @ Civic Digital Fellowship.
Frontend @ Microsoft.
Mobile Dev @ NASA.
Testing @ Motorola.
I was a PM for Microsoft Power BI's Word Wrapping Feature.
Most of my projects and past internships contain a significant portion of PM duties, including writing user stories and pointing, conducting user surveys, and creating mockups and prototypes.
At NASA, I researched the feasibility of gathering flight data with an iPhone's onboard sensors. Then I built it.
I also developed a GUI for a NAO robot at UF's Human Experience Lab.
I've volunteered with Ruby for Good to build software for non-profits like Habitat for Humanity, CASA, and Circulate.
